on being alone.

I have to be okay with being alone.

That’s not me trying to be cliche, but it’s the truth.

I know that I’m never lonely because My Father is with me.

People may not always understand.

Heck, I don't understand some days.

But truth is, if I were back home I wouldn’t be able to grow in the same way that I’m growing now.

I wish I could bring everyone that I know and love here, to this new place with me.

It would feel less…lonesome.

But I have to do this…

Alone.

There are certain things that happen when God isolates you, it’s not permanent.

It will pass, but the only way I’ll get through it without going insane is Jesus.

He would continuously withdraw to spend time with His Father— to be refreshed. (Luke 5:16)

That's what I have to constantly do in this season.

Everyone has to, it’s the only way we can get our strength, by staying close to Him.

So if you're in a similar season of aloneness, let's cherish it and change our perspective; this is a beautiful season to walk with the Father and lean on Him as we trust His plans for our lives.

There’s no other way, He’s the only way.

"...for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not fear; what can man do to me?”

- Hebrews 13:5-6 ESV

You're never alone.
